The rough and tumble silver mining days of past in Park City, Utah has evolved into upscale dining and 2 million dollar homes. I found Handle restaurant to be on the cutting edge of blending flavors and textures unlike any steak house which the wild west is known for. It’s the new venture of a young chef/owner, his wife along with another hip owner willing to push the menu bar.
Bok choy with pickled peanuts, cardamon panna cotta and thick house made bread with Sicilian Castelvetrano olives which are more mild than the usual dark olives in the bread. The Boston Cream Pie is very innovative with ricotta filling in the cake, chocolate gauche and topped with mixed nut popcorn. Decadence reaches a new high.
