North Park, a thriving community in San Diego, known for neighborhoods and older houses, has a lively restaurant scene catering to many different tastes. Chef Gordon decided to think beyond the profits and designed a menu with no artificial ingredients or fillers at his restaurant, Urban Solace. He has a loyal following for his latest dish, comfort and healthy food.  A favorite appetizer is the towering grass fed beef tartare layered with parmesan, pickled onions and Eben-Haezer egg. This restaurant is also not shy in taking cocktails to a whole new contemporary level and even offers blue grass music on Sundays.
