It truly was a step back in time, thousands of years ago, with the vibrant town of Ephesus, Turkey.  The ruins tell the story, market places and houses for the rich, library and amphitheatre where St. Paul spoke and concerts performed.  A therapeutic hospital where organs have been excavated and the huge library rivaling Alexandria’s library.  The pathway where Cleopatra and Mark Anthony walked during their wedding procession looked as if time stood still all those many years ago.

I’m told these ruins are only a portion of all that have been discovered, including the terrace houses with paintings still on the walls.
