My first bake with the mounds of bulk chocolate was something pushing the envelope. Chocolate-chocolate chip bacon cookies. Bacon was cooked until crispy, a chunk of chocolate chopped into small pieces and the dough was ready for making cookies. Bacon goes with everything, right? I zipped up pecan pie using my favorite Maker’s Mark bourbon. Seeing that bourbon is used, its called a Kentucky Derby Pie with chocolate and pecans. My handy chocolate chopper has been put to good use with the blocks of chocolate!
