Yikes, the dollar is low in Sweden and the taxi ride from the airport to downtown Stockholm was $100 with tip-ouch! And we have more taxi rides before the trip is over.
It’s true there is only one hour of darkness, at 3AM I peaked out the window and the sun had just set and by 5am the sky was bright with sunshine and the day was ready to start, according to the sky.
The breakfast buffet is splendid with meats, cheese, bricks of butter, biscuits with caraway and salmon all while overlooking the old city in all its historical glamor. We’re off to a famous food hall soon…
