The Fish Market restaurant, in my cioppino tasting opinion, has the best with a savory and rich tomato base loaded with mussels, crab and scallops. I’ve eaten my share of “fish stew” along the west coast and always come back to the Fish Market, classically served in a stainless casserole pan with handles and wedges of garlic bread. A beautiful presentation.
The Fish Market has no bad seats for scenic dining and happy hour overlooking the bay watching sail boats cruising by and very large Navy ships in the harbor, adds to the pleasure. It’s consistently good and a place to visitors and locals too.
