I always have a soft spot for Easter decorations and traditions. It’s spring and life is renewed! Azucar, Cuban Style Patisserie in Ocean Beach, makes beautiful pastries like the Little Havana with dulce de leche filling and tiramisu topped with a bunny. And the decorated butter cookies were divine. Pastry Chef Vivian Hernandez-Jackson also makes Cuban sandwiches but it’s the desserts that bring me here!
I couldn’t stop digging into this pastry with lots of cream thanks to French trained and Cuban influenced Owner/Chef Vivian. Spring has sprung!
