I knew Finland was a small country but there was Santa waiting for me as I entered the port of Helsinki. I even had my picture taken with him.
In the open market, I saw cans of reindeer meat and frozen reindeer meat so I hope Santa has some transportation this Christmas!
The market also had big fur hats, knitted socks and fresh produce like strawberries locally grown. We had planned to take tram #3 around the city for our sightseeing but thankfully, the driver told us the summer schedule changes the route and we decided to take tram #5 toward the ship. I saw Santa in Finland and now I believe in Christmas once again!
