Arnold Arboretum, part of Harvard and in Boston city limits is acre after acre of wide walking trails and nothing less than hundreds of lush trees.  Walking the simple trails is like being in a secluded forest yet its in the city.

It is lilac season and the fragrance of lilac hits the senses before one can start seeing the trees.  I enjoyed smelling the blossoms and seeing the purple flowers reminding me its spring.  The rain started falling and we got to the car and drove from this secluded garden on to the crazy streets in Boston.  The relaxation from this wonder did last the rest of the day.
