I can’t remember the last time I visited Old Town Temecula and it’s more lively than before. All types of restaurants and shops and a special bakery. Oak Grove Culinary Creations sells desserts for their at risk and special needs youth. I gladly support this concept!
At Devilicious Eatery most of the menu items are made from scratch, like these Korean bbq wings.
Old Town is a mix of old buildings and modern eateries which makes it a fun place to stroll the streets for a relaxing time.
The Wineries in Temecula have grown to nearly 50 establishments and each provides different sipping opportunities. I met friends at Europa Village which recently built a Spanish style tasting room, restaurant and casitas. Soon to be completed are old world style French and Italian sections.
Spanish tapas and meals are served here and my breakfast of Spanish Casuela was one of the many well thought out food items.
I enjoyed watching a hot air balloon flying nearby while having my morning coffee. Temecula valley has many hot air balloons and this one made me think of the 5th Dimension singing, would you like to ride in my beautiful balloon…
Temecula Old Town and the wineries are a wonderful outing and staycation. I’m already planning a return trip since its only an hour drive from San Diego.
