More quarantine baking with many delicious baked goods and a few which I thought needed improvement. Let’s start with this eye appealing and stunning dessert-
Summer is fresh peaches and plums in abundance. Ina Garten (the Barefoot Contessa) to the rescue with her Peach and Blueberry Crumbles recipe. I used peaches and plums and followed her recipe by quickly boiling the fruit so they peeled easily. A crumble topping holds the ice cream, until the ice cream starts melting!
Not everything I bake turns out just right, but I do like to experiment and bake outside my usual routine. Here’s some of my baking bloopers which didn’t come out just right. Maple cinnamon rolls (not enough maple flavor)

No matter how good and practiced you are there will be bloopers. I won’t give up and will keep perfecting my baking skills. In the meantime…dig in!
