East Coast is known for frozen custard and Nielsen’s in Vienna, Virginia has been long established on historic Church St. It’s made with an egg custard base and is thick and creamy because air is not whipped into it like traditional ice cream. Cream and other natural ingredients make for delicious dessert and no matter the daily flavor.

Brick buildings line the street with a feeling of Colonial times and the ice cream on a hot humid day is simply the best.
