Rosario and her daughter Rodnia realized San Diego needed their Mexican style of cooking and opened El Borrego in North Park 12 years ago.  The restaurant is known for Guerrero style Barbacoa which is marinated lamb and so popular, 1,000 lbs are consumed a month.
